Flying Capacitor Multilevel Converter Balancing with Source Inductance

The balancing app is a MATLAB app implementation of a model of the FCML converter with input inductance. To use the app, extract the zip file and open “balancing_app.mlapp”. The app can be used to sweep flying capacitor voltage imbalance as a function of duty cycle, perform time-domain simulation of any state component waveforms, and export either the full discrete-time state space model or the continuous-time state transition matrices for each sub-phase.
